Our renovation starts in two weeks and I must admit the bit I am looking forward to the most is absolutely destroying our horrid kitchen (I think our is worse than yours...haha). I am at the same stage. Our almighty reno is starting today, the painter is moving in, the kitchen lady and the bathroom men. I hope they all get on. I wont be home until next week and then I will try and start my own thread also. I am really hoping it all goes on schedule. I will get my hubbie to teach me how to load photos this weekend B4 I fly home. At the moment I have a lovely pink and white kitchen, it is truely gorgeous, with floral blinds. They had ours gutted and stripped within 4 days, and that's with asbestos removal too. What is the next step for you? Most of the framing is done (I think). Anyway, this is your thread, lets not distract ourselves from what you have going on here! So, are you choosing finishes along the way or you are doing it at the start? Things like benchtops, lights position of switches and stuff like that? Re: The Renovation train before pics!!! - Framing done pics! 20Jun 20, 2010 4:19 pm Yes thanks to H1 I thought through the electrical plan fairly well ( recessed TV points since hubby insists on Tv in bedroom now I wont have to see cables) our electrician is really lovely all tradies so far have been actually except Mr (lack of) personality Heating man - since he was $500 cheaper than nearest quote I decided I'd cope with his surliness! ************* First time renovator VIC Our standard double-glazed window is tested to achieve, Rw 34, and can be glazed to suit Rw 39. The price is good too... 3 9472 This is a very tight fit, I'm not sure if you'll be able to achieve what you've described. Would you consider accessing the separate toilet from the laundry?
