Do they clean the grout between the tiles as well, my normal sponge mop is useless for this hence , grooty grout My building thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25279 NEARLY DONE. KEYS ON 5/11 AT 1PM Re: Calling all microfibre mop owners!! 22Jun 07, 2010 10:48 am not really, no... it might get a bit of superficial, not very ingrained dirt off, but I find I still need to get in there with a scrubbing brush to get the really bad stuff off the grout. I spilled a bottle of foundation on my ensuite floor a little while back and there is still an orangey stain in the grout where the mop hasn't cleaned it off. I need to get down on all fours in there one day. "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. Re: Calling all microfibre mop owners!! 23Jun 07, 2010 10:50 am I have a lot of floor tiles and bought a steam cleaner through Danoz - the H2O mop - best thing I ever bought - uses water/steam, no product and cleans tiles perfectly including grout. Easy to use, no mop and bucket and saves money on product. Can also be used on timber and carpet with special instructions. Water and laminates don't mix, so I assume the steam was getting into the joins and causing swelling. Ya you cant use them on lamiates, The laminiates are not such a problom with mopping I find, its the large area of tiles that is. Thats why I was interested in what you guys where saying about the micro fibre mops. My building thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25279 NEARLY DONE. Clean grout will be an issue for us, we have red soil, lots of it and it stains EVERYTHING. I don't know what this microfibre stuff is exactly but we have not bought ANY cleaning chemicals since we have been in the new house, and even though we wouldn't call ourselves greenies, not using chemicals can't be a bad thing I guess! Re: Calling all microfibre mop owners!! 31Jun 07, 2010 2:42 pm We have 3 Enjo mop attachments. One is for sweeping, one is for washing the laminate, and the third one is a rougher textured one for washing tiles or very dirty surfaces. We used the last one to remove a film from the laminate. Re: Calling all microfibre mop owners!! 32Jun 07, 2010 9:51 pm I have misplaced my bathroom mitt...so sad....need to look closely in the garage. It's an Enjo one and I need to start using it in the new house. Job for tomorrow is to find it. Do not use steam mop on solid timber floors nor chemicals such as metho. Believe it or not we know people who have. Im still looking even though everyone is saying Enjo, I might need a cheaper one to get me through till i can afford a Enjo (still have blinds etc to buy! ) Thanks Re: Calling all microfibre mop owners!! 38Jun 08, 2010 3:11 pm Dollar ....nor chemicals such as metho. Believe it or not we know people who have. Why not use metho on the floor? I have used it for over 14 years on a solid timber floor and there was nothing wrong with it, it just evapourated off. I also use it on my floating floor heavily diluted in water with a microfibre mop as per guidelines of the installer. I would not use anything like 'Handy Andy', but I thought metho was pretty harmless... Also use diluted metho and water on all my mirrors and chrome (taps)...works a treat! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... Enjo are obviously really expensive, I just had a look at their website and their cloths look like they are the same as the ones we bought and I think we paid about $12 or $15 for a pack of 3! Re: Calling all microfibre mop owners!! 40Jun 08, 2010 7:17 pm The Enjo mop I brought a couple of years ago howvever I reckon it was a couple of hundred-I know it was alot including the mops. I will never by another mop system again unless it's Enjo-all the rest I have brought break. I might have an Enjo party. Still need to do the Tupperware party as well. A question.
