Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 01, 2010 12:00 am Hi, We are having a 500mm step down in the middle of the house. Thus part of it will have increased ceiling height to ~3000mm (iso. 2550mm). Should we increase the window height or would the builder's standard window (1800mm height) be fine? Anyone with 3m high ceiling? What window height do you have? DKP Re: Heigh ceiling - increase window height? 2Jun 01, 2010 10:31 am hi, we have 3m ceilings and forgot to change window and door sizes, although it looks fine the way it is I would definitely change them next time, just for a nicer sense of proportion. Our ceilings are 3m all the way through though, not just in one area, so not sure if it would look strange just having different sizes in one room only? is it in the same sight-line as other rooms and other windows? how do you think it would look?
