There are so many House floor plans that are very similar on the market at the moment.
I was wondering how much a plan has to be different to another before it is in breach of copyright. I have heard of architects changing these plans about 10%, is this true?
Cheers,
I think I have read some where 30%.
Also - if you were to take your "ideas" to an architect without showing them any plans just your "rough" drawings - and they develop a plan from this - then it is not deemed a breach of copyright as it is their perception of your "ideas" or brief.
Don't quote me on that though - I am pretty sure I have read that on some copyright information somewhere.
