Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 25, 2010 2:50 pm I've recently been looking at vanities/sinks/benchtops and concluded that buying a pre-made one works out so much cheaper. It doesn't look as nice and luxurious but it doesn't look too bad either. Has anyone seen or installed these vanities, they are called Drift Vaniti. I am interested in the quality in general as well as the top in particular. Prices are as follows: * 600 $779 * 900 $1049. * 1200 sgle bowl $1319. * 1200 dble bowl $1519. But we missed the boat with our builder so we have just ordinary vanities in them as well as the powder rooms whilst our ensuite has a custom made job. I think that they look really lovely - you just have to make sure that you put the extra noggins in the wall frame to support their weight as well as allowing for the waste to be hidden in the wall as well (unless you want a stainless steel trap to remain on show which can look okay). Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Drift Wall Hung Vanity 3May 25, 2010 6:45 pm kyton Bunnings had some very similar that we looked at for our minor ensuites. Do you mind me asking how much your ensuite vanity cost? Is it wall hung or the regular kind? Re: Drift Wall Hung Vanity 4May 25, 2010 7:48 pm Just check the tops carefully, see what they're made of. Those acrylic materials can scratch very easily - the newer types seem to be more robust. It is something like 2.5-ish metres long wall hung. Has an acrylic preform top with two inset basins. Cabinet below comprises of two double door cabinets and then three drawers in centre. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Drift Wall Hung Vanity 6May 30, 2010 1:26 am We are renovating our bathrooms and I have chosen very simular vanity suites, but the tops are made of porcelein, better for cleaning and I dont have to worry about nail polish remover. They are all premade, the range and the quality is as good as anything custommade, at a better price.
