Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 19, 2010 12:11 am I've tried searching - honest - but can't find what I'm looking for. I'm sure one of the frequent posters gave details of the hot water recirculating pump that they had installed. I'm so sick of waiting AGES for the hot water to arrive, that I would like to find that thread and reread it, but I can't find it! There was also a discussion recently from someone who had problems with an instantaneous gas heating/solar hot water system combination. We are STILL waiting for the plumbers to come and replace the 13 mm pipe they used connected the gas heater to the water with rather than the 18 mm that the installation manual states is required. I hope that will fix some of the problems we are having, but I'm not confident. Unless we have the hot water full on, it tends to drop substantially in temperature. I even resorted to taking the flow limiting device out of our kitchen mixer, which helped get hot water through to the kitchen quicker, but doesn't help keep the water hot. The water in the 150 year old building where I do some of my work is so much better than my latest, paid extra for higher capacity, hot water system. Not happy. Has anyone installed a water pump, like you can buy for tank water, to increase the pressure of the water to the house when the mains pressure is low? If any of you remember enough to find either of these threads, I'd be very appreciative - and I can get back to my overdue BAS submission. The ATO will come looking for me soon, I fear. Re: Hot water recirculator and pressure 2May 19, 2010 8:27 am I think I replied to that thread too, but I can't see it. I do know that the reticulation for instant gas is this thing http://www.rinnai.com.au/index.php?opti ... d=2&id=287 .
