Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Instant Hot water on LPG. Bosch 16h 3May 17, 2010 9:41 pm ghoulie1 Hi I am looking at installing an instant hot water unit the runs on lpg. Can anyone help, with their experience , I am looking at a bosch 16h hydropower, as it needs no power to be run to it to operate pilot light. The area I live in has no natural gas and LPG storage units make hot water very expensive. Any other ideas would be considered. Thanks Rob We put one of those in the shed we converted to temporary living quarters while we built. I understand it is too small to cope with a multi-bathroom house, but it was fine for our purposes. Works flawlessly and instantly even with the very occasional use it now gets. The lack of a need to provide it with a power point was a big bonus for us. It provides much hotter water than the Rinnai 26 in the new house. I guess this is a "settings" thing, though. The house one can be tweaked with jumper switches to provide water at a higher temp, but we've resisted this due to insurance legalities. The small shed unit came set at the higher temp from the factory. Cheers zeke I am installing a new Bosch SMU4HTS01A built under dushwasher. I have 2 questions.
