Can you advise any suppliers/stores in Melbourne? Also any pics would be great. Many thanks Site Start: 10th September, 2010 PCI : Friday 27th January, 2011. Why? ......not because of the appearance as I still think they look nice, but because of the roughened surface they collect dust/fluff (specially in the bathroom) and it's almost impossible to give them a quick clean with a fluffy duster. They weren't clean when I moved in and just passed that off thinking that the previous tenant wasn't too motivated to clean prior to vacating, but to be honest they will be in the same condition when I move out. Right now I'm looking at colours for the new house and think chocolate brown aluminium venetians will work better in that they are a lovely colour for the look wanted, but can be easily and quickly wiped over with a duster (cream aluminium venetians in the house recently sold and they were super-easy to keep clean). Maybe I'm lazy but don't wish to spend my time cleaning blinds when the landscaping is screaming out for attention!! Not sure if this helps? Re: Anyone used Choc Brown Wood Venetians??? 3May 13, 2010 8:54 am I agree with HappyCamper. We have these in our kitchen and although they look great, practically speaking I would avoid having them. When the sun shines on them, you can see every mm of dust on them, so every couple of days I find myself with a wet sponge cleaning it (mind you we only have 1, I couldn't do it for a whole house). The best option is go with cream... actually I have discovered what a great colour cream is in hiding dust....
