Re: Driveway concreting 4May 05, 2010 4:46 pm I'm led to believe that local concrete companies here provide premix for about $250 per cubic metre, which is the equivalent to $25 per m² with 100mm thickness. Labour would be at least that price again, so I would suggest that you should be able to find it at around $50 per m² - excavation & boxing may or may not be included (depends on your contractor). Re: Driveway concreting 5May 06, 2010 7:24 pm We are in Brissy paying the concretor who is doing our driveway (organised through our builder) $55 square metre, cash job, to do some extra concreting when they lay the driveway, so around $50 sounds right to me Painting finished, time to tile! Our builder is D.J.Roberts if that helps Painting finished, time to tile! HANDOVER - THURSDAY 3RD MARCH 2011 Re: Driveway concreting 8May 07, 2010 9:25 am In Sydney, I have found that the price of a concrete driveway is inversely proportional to the distance the driveway is from the harbour….. We've had decent weather for last 7 weeks and now the drvieway has been cut out we had an evening of 50mm of rain including all the water from half the street, ground is… 0 4455 It will be neat but you won't have much freeboard. At least they are not weep holes. Are you in a high intensity rainfall region? The regulatory slope is only required… 3 8194 Just get as close as you can without hitting the posts. Once you are close to the edge of the path the chance of cracking is minimised. 7 9125 |
