Hello all~!
I bought a new house recently and have realized that the taps in the bathtub are reversed, meaning that the cold water comes out of the hot-indicated tap and vice versa.
I called the builder in and the only fix he did was to switch the taps with each other. Not only does the hot water still comes out from the right tap, the wordings on the taps are now upside down because of the switch.
The main issue is that it throws me off every time I turn on the taps there as I grew up learning that the cold water always comes out of the right tap. In the worst case scenario, the kids that I plan on having, might get scalded because of my reflex action on turning the right tap first.
Should I push for the builder to dig through the walls and reinsert the pipes to the proper taps? Does the builder have the right to refuse this?
