Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 14, 2010 2:56 pm Has any one taken a quote for fenching, we want to install a fench at the front of the house as rest of the fence was already there. I got a quote from southside fencing or around 1100$ for 8m with gate on one side of the house. Is this quote right? Cheers Tama Re: Is this colorbond fence quote right? (WA) 2Apr 14, 2010 4:36 pm Hi Tama, We had Southside Fencing do our backyard fence (20m) for around $1200 if my memory serves me correctly. Was initially happy with the fence but the big Perth storm 3weeks ago has pushed it over. Still waiting for someone to come back and access whether workmanship or freak weather is to blame. PM me if you want more info. Re: Is this colorbond fence quote right? (WA) 3Apr 14, 2010 5:06 pm I recently quoted a colourbond fence for a property we are looking to build on. We are going to put the fence up ourselves, so there was no labour in this amount...but we were quoted $100 per length, which are 2.37m long and include the post at both ends as well as the other stuff....rails, etc etc.... Re: Is this colorbond fence quote right? (WA) 4Apr 14, 2010 11:20 pm Thanks Guys, The gate is the costliest bit in this quote around 600$ for 1.8M gate, fixed panels around 300-400$. I am trying to get some more quotes but being a small job tradies are not interested in this job. Re: Is this colorbond fence quote right? (WA) 7Jul 01, 2010 12:00 pm Well my fence finally got put back up and finished off on the Monday that just went by. That's about 3 months since it got blown down (and after numerous phone calls, emails, etc). I am curious as to your experience with them, Rex. Post or pm me if you can be bothered. Cheers. Re: Is this colorbond fence quote right? (WA) 8Jul 03, 2010 11:27 pm Hi Guys, be nice I am new! I would advise staying away from R & R Fencing too, I am about to put in a complaint with the Building Dispute Tribunal for bad workmanship and not installing as per specification... Got a number of a contractor that another big fencing company use, he is meant to be one of the best. Can PM it on if you wish. Cheers Re: Is this colorbond fence quote right?
