Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 09, 2010 7:17 am Hubby and I are starting to give some thought to colours for our new home. We want to mainly uses grey tones and white. However, we know that we are going to need to use some feature colours to break it up and give it some life. Has anyone used a similiar grey/white colour scheme and what other colours did you use? Any pics that anyone could share would be really appreciated as we are really at a loss to what would look good. Painting finished, time to tile! I love grey with dark brown, navy and hot pink. Red is also good. Perhaps buy a book about colour schemes and see what they suggest. Re: Colours to use with grey 3Apr 09, 2010 8:54 am I absolutely agree with melbmeg. You can have green, brown, blue etc. greys and that would dictate what other colours you would use with it. I have a grey and white house, my greys are cool (charcoal, stone), I have three different greys externally with a red front door, white walls, white window blinds, red couches, charcoal kitchen, stone grey tiles, charcoal carpet. I don't have any red accessories (apart from white/grey/red stripy cushions), didn't want to do it, instead I kept it silver, black and white and matte (and boring ). Are you looking for other colours to use on your walls, or furniture, or accessories?
