Our Crazy Owner Builder Journey! Re: So... when are you going to the expo? 22Apr 11, 2010 1:29 am We went to the show today and ended up having a ball. We spent 3 hours there. Very excited as we ordered our carpet from Carpet Call for the show special of $53 per sqm. (80% wool) Normally this would be $62+, so we've saved heaps. Only put a deposit down and will pay the rest on installation when the house is finished. We also paid a deposit for a dining table and 8 leather chairs. Wasn't expecting to buy this but couldn't pass up the price! $2200 and the wood is NZ and made in Aus. The leather chairs have springs and are really comfy. We could have paid $1900 for the other chairs they were offering buy they weren't as comfy. So, in all a good shopping day out. Plus we got loads of brochures and contacts!
