Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 06, 2010 4:18 pm Hi All, Am thinking of erecting a temp wall in my dining area for a new baby. My issues are I would like to do it without fixing to the floor or roof. Was thinking of some 8mm ply sheets with a stud type framing, it would be in a 3 wall config with a small opening on 1 side as a door My thoughts are that as long as the Corners are strong with good stud framing and maybe I can ad a pine cross bar on each corner at the top to form a triangle that it would hold strong and not fall ??? Any builders confirm if this makes sense ? Other option why not look at a bookcase/room divider from Ikea, the expedit series or something similar. Just use some material or something to close it in, and then you have extra storage and can always move it later.
