Our local councils won't let you build any combustible unit ( wood fire, gas heater, combustion stove etc ) within 900mm of any side or rear boundary and not in the front setback. I doubt whether a pizza oven would comply either but I think they tend to turn a blind eye to cooking appliances like those and BBQs.
I should have said that is what they say for built-in units. I think a freestanding unit would be a different matter but that would probably depend on how pedantic your particular council is.
