Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 27, 2010 8:39 pm Hi We are looking at purchasing 10 acres !!! We have never purchased land before. The land comes with a planning permit and building permit. I know that having the planning permit is a good thing but the building permit coinfuses me. Can we just disregard this permit and submit our own application when we are looking to build? Also with the planning permit will the council be able to give us all the info regarding it before we purchase the land? Any help would be appreciated. If neither of these apply then you can just get a new building permit for your prposed dwelling.
