In this instance though it seems the windows at the front were sought to provide balance to facade. If they were taller, they would look rather out of place with the lower roof line of the front veranda. I'm sure if we saw some pictures of the homes other 'original' windows, they would be more fitting of the Victorian style. It's definitely a house with loads of potential!!
