I have yet to see piers with any reo or anything that actually anchors the slab to the piers. They just seem to dig holes put some concrete in and a few days later put the slab on. If a slab really wanted to move wouldnt it still break where the piers and the slab join anyway? I am sure someone will have a better idea than me but it just doesnt seem very logical to me Maybe they use some chemical to bond them or something?
