Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 22, 2010 5:34 pm Iv'e noticed on a few pic's here that there are no washing machine taps, is this the norm?, my plans don't show them either, and with only one spout from the trough you would need to use a hose to fill it, I just can't believe builders are not including them, do they think we still use scrubbing boards and concrete troughs?? Re: Auto Washing Machine Taps 2Mar 22, 2010 5:38 pm some builders have them in the cupboards next to the space for the washing machine - and the hose is near the floor. Supposed to look much better, but I've moved mine back up the top of the washing machine as I'm not bending down every time I have to turn off the taps... ..check with your builder - it could be the same! Check with your builder to see where the taps are - they should be marked on the plans somewhere. edit: Snap, mpcj I forgot that some people like to turn off the taps when not using the machine. Not something I've ever done. Re: Auto Washing Machine Taps 4Mar 22, 2010 5:43 pm ^ I was only a minute in front of you Kek! Turning them off is something I've been doing since we nearly had a major disaster with plumbing. Long and boring story...but they are always off now!!
