I don't think it should be leaking like that at all. Re: Noobie help with garage wall 5Feb 14, 2010 2:17 pm That is typical of a single skin wall suffering from moisture ingress. I'd be guessing that the wall is copping a hammering from the weather. This is an easy fix. Seal it with a penetrant sealer if you want PM me and I will send you the 'how to's' Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Re: Noobie help with garage wall 6Feb 14, 2010 3:07 pm Thanks guys, just wanted to make sure. We just had a neighbour who knows a bit about this stuff come and have a look. It would seem the gutter above that wall does not slope towards the downpipe. Thus it fills up and leaks back towards the house and the down the bricks. Hope the builder who did it, or rather did not do it comes to the party to fix this 3 month old house.
