Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 27, 2010 3:03 pm I know this isn't a massive size for a master bedroom, but I would like to also be able to fit a small ensuite into the area and will of course need to take care of storage/wardrobes in the room as well. I'm after some guidance in what people think the best layout for the room would be. Unfortunately given the nature of the house the door pretty much has to remain where it is in the picture. The front window on the room faces north and is at the fron of the house so there basically needs to be a window there so that it doesn't look silly (plus having a large window facing east would be a bad idea in the mornings). The size and location of the window is variable (so an ensuite could be down the east side of the room for example. Ultimately want the room to remain a good functional size for having a queen sized bed, large tallboy, dressing table and bedside tables. Anything above this in the main area is a bonus. The ensuite just needs the basics - sink, shower, toilet. Thanks in advance! The 5.5m length of the room could be increased by eating into the bedroom behind it (it's currently 3.8m x 4.2m). Thank you so much. This has been very helpful.
