We have looked at a lot of display homes & established homes recently. The house that I would love to build is the "Emperor" from Henley. Then the decision of where to buy land becomes an issue. However, we have some builder's coming over next week to give us some ideas. We want to add a master bedroom plus ensuite & walk in robes. Also would like to build a movie room. We want to extend the kitchen into the laundry area & build a new laundry. The house is double storey & is about 30 years old. Now I must admit that I have no idea what the above will cost. Is it a matter of using a recognised amount/cost per square ? I know it's more complicated than that, but I just want to get a rough idea. Any advice appreciated.
