Re: New land release this weekend @ The Ponds 8Mar 05, 2010 4:28 pm Well you never know.. they might outsource it to a builder for a potential house and land package too. Having said that, there could be 500 blocks that may go on sale next year As this is my first time building and especially as a OB im excited. We are pretty close getting the Building permit and ready to start. Re: New land release this weekend @ The Ponds 10Mar 09, 2010 10:55 am Anyone still after land? I just recieved the email for Waterfall 4 & 5 release on Sat 13th March 2010. Its 40 blocks in the middle section of the Western side of the creek. The 2 blocks closest to the creek. All decent size blocks and normal shapes. Not on the website yet. Looks like people are camping from the day the email comes out at the moment. The people in the story said they joined the queue on Tue at 8pm and were 21 on the list. I wonder how many they sold. Might have to drop by the sales centre and have a look. Someone told me that they did all sell on Sat but they werent 100% sure. I guess if you can afford $1200 to pay a faux queuer you would do it. I am thinking we were super lucky to only need to camp for 1 night. It'd still sell... ♥ hoping to build in 2011! Re: New land release this weekend @ The Ponds 16Mar 15, 2010 11:17 am Did all 40 sell out? To me, it will not be long until other estates like Stonecutters ridge get more popular , even with the lack of schools and shops compared to the ponds. That unmet demand must go somewhere !! (such as SCR or Vermont)... Re: New land release this weekend @ The Ponds 17Mar 15, 2010 11:43 am Is so crazy. I dont understand why New Rouse doesnt drop their prices a bit they were $60K more than Ponds for a 450 block when we were looking. In this release most of the blocks were $340K to $360K. Thats $50K more than we we put our deposit down almost 12mths ago. Have they fixed the road into Vermont yet? It was a goat track last time I went there. What are the prices like for Stonecutters at the moment? I know they are bigger than The Ponds, plus the nice views. I think people are also attracted to Ponds for resale potential recent sales have sold for great prices. Ones that would have been build for around $640 (on old land prices with a big house) have sold for over $720K recently. Seems like prices are in high 300's now. Not sure about Vermont , I have a workmate who just bought there for mid 300's price.
