About to renovate the kitchen family room which currently has a floor of cork surface laid over underlay sheeting. Each underlay sheet is attached to the floor substrate with dozens of staples and with the removal of the underlay the staples unfortunately remain behind stuck in the substrate. Is there any tool or good method for removing these things, or does one just hammer them down into the substrate? I wish to get a good flat surface as I intend replacing the cork/underlay with T&G flooring.
Thanks
