Need to have the following cables in different locations; -TV -Fox -Phone -Power Been tossing around several ideas such as putting cables behind larger skirting boards or up on the ceiling behind bulkheads. Now thinking about putting a floating wooden floor in the apartment over the concrete slab. I believe this could give an opportunity to run the afore mentioned cables around the apartment and then chase the cables up the wall where I need outlets. Biggest question; is there a legal way to run power under or around the edge (where floor meets wall) of a floating wooden floor? What conditions, clearances etc. are required? This will help us decide if this is the best idea for us. Or if anyone has had a similar cabling problem in a house or apartment with rendered brick walls would like to hear how you solved it. Thanks P.S we will not be doing this work ourseleves, will be getting a professional in to do, i would just like to know what options we have.
