Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 07, 2010 11:03 pm Hi, My wife and I are looking at using gen1/easy living building our house and was wondering if anyone has any feedback on them that they could share with us......it would be much appreciated. You can PM if you like. Regards, Dale. Re: Right builder? 3Jan 08, 2010 3:09 pm My post/feedback isn't about any particular builder, but rather the kind of advice you'll receive in many online forums. While this forum seems different than many building forums I've seen - there's quite a few people that comment on all aspects of their build - people who post about their builder tend to post because they're having issues and need assistance or want people to sympathise with them. Unless specifically asked about builders, I'd take what you read with a grain of salt. Most people don't go out of their way to say how good a builder was, but will post all day long about a bad experience they had. This was especially true on a car forum I frequented. People would post questions when they didn't know what a weird sound was, or what the light on the dashboard meant, but rarely would someone post just to say," My car is running great today." I'm not saying ignore it, but read into a bit more, especially if the feedback wasn't necessarily asked for. Just my $.02. Stefan Building the M3tr!con Liberty 42 at Stonecutters Ridge.
