I will put my chilli's into some of them over the next day or two! You're welcome, you took some unwanted stuff off my hands - and I'm happy that they went to someone who can use them, rather than just chucking them out. And it was lovely to meet you. Apologies for my mad windswept hair and the messy state of the house. You get what you get on a Sunday night. Now you need to get a potted Tuscan garden thing going on. Chillies, herbs, a citrus tree.... some lavenders.... Ooh, ooh!! A couple of olive trees in the big ones! How are people doing with Internet (ADSL) access in the new estates in Doreen. Is there trouble getting anything other than Telstra? I've heared it's often a problem in new estates as Telstra will run equipment that won't support a large amount of subscribers (RIM vs CMUX). If Telstra can provide you with ADSL1 then anyone that resells Telstra ADSL1 (majority of isp's) can too so you can go through anyone, the problem a lot of people have though is how many ports are available in their area. Also, there is no one else out this way with ADSL2, only Telstra 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' I lived there from 1961....dirt roads, no footpaths, a farm across the road, a farm next door, no gas or sewer ....and yet it was on the railway line and only half an hour's drive from the city. Betcha I win the best childhood contest..... *sigh* Wish I could afford land in Monty.... There's a website where you can check availability of ADSL ports; someone here where know where it is..... It is a bit dire around here - but I did notice Tesltra doing some major digging up of nature strips and laying conduit just before Christmas. And a new Telstra pole thingy appeared just round the corner. I'm hoping that's all got something to do with providing broadband services to new residents.
