Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 29, 2009 10:45 pm So today was the final push to get the back yard done There were 3 out standing things that needed to be done to make the backyard safe for visitors and puppies The first was to finish the rear side of the garage .... here it is: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Next was to hide the last of the last of the neighbours whilst protecting the little ones from the fall down the side of the retaining wall.... tick Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Finally the last part was to put a gate in to make access down the side of the house a little harder for the dog and also to gain a little more sotrage for things like the wheelbarrows etc: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ All done ... backyard is now pet and little people friendly! Kristi This stuff is fairly cheap I think. a piece 2.7m long pre oiled is $8.50. If you cut this in 2 like it did that gets you, with a pen for spacing, around 1.5 tall The gate kit was $157.85 and that includes the hinges. This will do up to 1.5m wide and 1.8m tall but can be adjusted down to 1.2m wide. The bolt kit and dynobolt for teh brickwork was an extra $13.00.
