Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 29, 2009 8:44 pm Hi everyonce, This may seem like a silly question, but I wanted to know whether mail addressed to myself and my family can still be delivered to the letterbox at our new block of land at the present time, if we have not yet permanently moved in? Is it necessary to have a number on the box if this is the case? Also, can we still receive packages which have to be picked up from the post box, or will they be disregarded? Thanks very much for your help. Re: Question regarding mail/letterbox 2Dec 29, 2009 8:57 pm If Australia Post is aware of your address and has sorted out a schedule for delivery to your property, they don't care if you're there or not. Best thing to do is call the local post office - they'll tell you if they have your address on their delivery routes. Not sure of your circumstances, but personally I'm planning on having all mail from our new block redirected back to the current address until we land there. How that plays havok with parcels, etc; guess we'll work it out when/if anyone sends me a present, lol. - Land registered 27/11/09, settlement 22/01/10 - Currently doing the rounds of display homes. i would not be signing anything on the day read your contract about when builder submits final invoice generally, have to meet builder within 7 days of receiving final… 1 4744 Hi All, Recently we have signed a contract with Burbank and we are not aware that they have just DORSET, SURREY, HAMPSHIRE, KENT, PILBARA and REDGUM bricks from PGH are… 0 3155 Thank you @.
