Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 21, 2009 3:32 pm I've just taken over my grandfathers house and it has some extensive problems with borer damage in the floorboards the areas that have been affected are in the pine t&G floorboards and have not gone into any of the hardwood boards (this house is located in sothern victoria) basically after removing all the carpet from the rooms, one room need a whole new floor as its badly eaten through the rest of the rooms have alot of pin holes in the boards (a few may need replacing) what would be my best option,do I need to replace the whole flooring if there is only pin holes in the boards and what should I replace the flooring with that will stop any more attacks from borers?? the floor boards affected were in around the 1950's when part of the house was renovated any help would be great consider putting in wall WC instead of robe in the same bedroom, then it might be doable to hook up to the existing piping. 4 4633 4 3586 Hi all, My first post, we are building a house and can’t decide the layout of the lounge room.
