Who knows if any of them is right? I'll try them again. I'm not able to find the information I need on the City of Whittlesea's building permit site, so I need to find out how I am able to access the regulations myself. I've never needed to do that before. My father-in-law asked one of his mates who is a building inspector for another council. His response was that we shouldn't need a permit from the CoW as it is under the existing roofline and does not constitute a structural change to the house.
