We are building 3m ceilings and have come up against recommendations that for ceilings about 2.7m you need Tastics with 4x375 watt heat globes rather than 4x275 watts. Apparantely the fan strengths are the same on both models. When we asked our electrician to quote us for using the tastics with 375 watt globes (3 in total) he said he would need to put these on a different circuit but if he used 275 watts he wouldn't have to. What does this actually mean and why is this the case?
It is more the fan than the heat that we are concerned about and if this is the same across both models, is it important.
thanks everyone
