Has anyone ever plastered over asbestos sheets?
Is there anything to consider when doing this?

Nothing special - just keep it in mind if your ever drilling into it. Plastering - Asbestos 4Nov 26, 2007 1:02 pm I was wanting to plaster using a gyprock basecoat between the asbestos sheet joints. This was preferred over placing a new gyprock sheeting over the asbestos.

If this is a custom build then I would expect the builder to set out the door frame closer to the wall to avoid the gap between architrave and the wall and or specify… 9 8251 What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength.
