Browse Forums General Discussion Re: What are you sick of seeing? 281Aug 23, 2010 3:23 pm I only hope it's not a really hot summer. I am sick of seeing front timber decking entrances. Sorry but I have never been a fan of this. I can imagine alot of people on here will have something like this. Sorry. I'm sick and tired of seeing boring letterboxes. You know the ones that you buy from the local hardware store or nursery. People have such nice homes and then the letterbox is the same as their neighbour, the people across the road, the corner house....I think you get my drift. My letterbox is in the process of getting made. This was an exciting thing for me as I truly wanted something unique and different. Re: What are you sick of seeing? 284Aug 23, 2010 3:47 pm I'm seriously sick of seeing my builder sitting on their hands doing sweet F A And I'm sick of hearing their lame *** excuses for why they can't give us a move in date Lisa- Finally in our house!!! Re: What are you sick of seeing? 285Aug 23, 2010 3:49 pm lisanne Dreamer So many people don't like yukkas, dracenas etc. So what are the "in" plants?! Just curious. A very interesting thread... Natives!! Well there you go … I had no idea certain plants were "in"! I like a tropical look garden. Renovating our 1970s home Re: What are you sick of seeing? 286Aug 23, 2010 3:50 pm Melrich haha. I agree. Whilst white can look sophisticated I too also believe I nice attractive splash can never go astray. Show us your kitchen..hehe. Re: What are you sick of seeing? 287Aug 23, 2010 7:29 pm Melrich I'm not used to any suburb where every house in the street looks identical to the next one. If you have seen housing estates in Belgium you will realise how good these things can look if some individuality is allowed. Here, whole suburbs are built around the developers warehouse inventory. "developers warehouse inventory"? What do you mean, Melrich? I have no idea what you're getting at there. Re: What are you sick of seeing? 288Aug 23, 2010 7:35 pm Nathan SteelFab Dollar I am sick of seeing mud and more mud in my yard. Ditto. Seriously rain, F&*K off please. We'll have it. Re: What are you sick of seeing? 291Aug 23, 2010 10:02 pm I am sick to death of people parking their cars across the footpath. Park INSIDE YOUR GARAGE PEOPLE...that's what they are for. Footpaths are for walking on- not parking on. I am sick of having to push my 1 yr old (in his pram) across front nature strips and onto roads all because someone parked on the footpath. It happens EVERY TIME we go for a walk.....there...it's off my chest now.... Oh and I'm also sick of getting progress reports from our builder saying that house bricking is to commence this week...three weeks later.....still no bricks... Make sure you stress how your (and your children's) safety is being compromised. That's a pet hate of mine too, and it's not 'draw'... it's 'drawer' 'DRAWER!!!' Well while we are on the subject "Devine" is not an adjective it is a name. The correct spelling is divine! Some things are worth waiting for. The correct spelling is divine! agree with both of these!!! AND I hate seeing must OF or had OF! it's must HAVE, had HAVE. sorry helyn but this is the sick of seeing thread and we are allowed to vent about it here and it doesn't HAVE to be tv to which you are addicted. it could be, but tv you're addicted to is actually grammatically fine! Re: What are you sick of seeing? 297Aug 23, 2010 10:33 pm I cannot stand the word "been" used where "being" should be used instead! It's one of my major gripes. I get so angry.
