Makes me giddy just looking at the plan. Barely a right angle in sight.

It's on just about every house design now days so it's pretty un-escapable, but I hate it. On a side note I hate the stupid jokes people make when I tell them I work for Metro/Connex. Or when I haven't seen them for a while and they'll say something like "So when are you fixing those trains eh?" I get enough of that crap at work, I don't need it on my time off buddy. Try working at c3ntrelink! its like a party EVERY day! Re: What are you sick of seeing? 244Jan 20, 2010 1:22 pm Twiggy I hate seeing the study at the front of the house next to the main entrance. Just curious where you would want the study in your house? Barely a right angle in sight. Bedroom 3 is the only standard shaped bedroom. Well there's no study at the front! hmm powder baby blue and green should never be seen together. I've seen blue and green together and it's looked ok but... hmm this family need a Michelle in their life. Too many colours - powder baby blue, mid greens and cream .. hmm Took me a while to work out that wallpaper/waterfall thing in the alfresco .. Still I guess they liked it. Life would be pretty dull if we all liked/wanted exactly the same thing and my place certainly isn't at the forefront of modern design so.. Oh, is it wallpaper? I thought it might be a mural. We had a mural at our old house and I loved it (I don't really like theirs, but each to their own !) You can sort of see ours in this pic, but not very well, cos the sun is shining on it..... SO sorry to hear about those young boys, Kek - it's just awful Their poor families! Barely a right angle in sight. I love my angles.... but that's ridiculous! They seem to serve no purpose...it's as though the designer just wanted it to be different, regardless of whether it was practical or not. MagicJ: there's a mural? As for the job thing, try working for the CBA - if I ever hear the "Which Bank....?" thing one more time .....the worst part is, everyone who says it seems to think that they are the first one ever to think of it and it must be SO hilarious . Branch manager for that particular organisation was my OLD job..... yeah, gee, that never got old. And hey, when I'm at a party, I really want to hear ALL about your bad experience with your local branch and what a totally crappy bank it is.... No, please, go on....tell me more. I love to talk about work when I'm out, and especially to listen to complaints, because I never get enough of those on the job. I actually said words to that effect to someone once (who I'd just met, and off they went straight away with the complaining ) and they just stared at me, speechless. - at their own rudeness, maybe? Trust me, my current job provokes even worse tirades.
