Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 05, 2009 10:14 pm We bought a LG side by side fridge to our new house. The builder has connected the outlet for cold water in the fridge space as we asked for it. We got the fridge delivered and we did connect the filter ourselves but in the manual they recommended we need to check the pressure of the water before we connect the hose to the water outlet in the fridge space. We have the fridge on now without connecting it to the water as the screw that goes into the outlet doesn't match with what came with the fridge. I have read in so many forums that the water do leak etc and cuases damages to the house. Do you think its better we get e plumber or does LG send technicians to your house? Thanks in advance Re: Connecting LG side by side fridge to water 3Dec 12, 2009 8:56 pm eselle Sorry I can't help - I am in the same situation. We also have a LG fridge which we will need to connect up to water when we move. I will keep an eye on this thread.... Spoke to my Better Half. Her advice is to call the LG Service number and tell them. LG should either send someone out or mail the part to you. If they give you the run-around PM me and I can give you a number to call .. especially if you're in WA. Hope that's helped. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 7512 |
