Dirk Re: fencing before landscaping or vice versa??? which one first 4Dec 01, 2009 8:04 pm Definitely get the fencing done first!! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Re: fencing before landscaping or vice versa??? which one first 5Dec 01, 2009 9:15 pm Sorry guys My question was supposed to be whether to do gates before landscaping Thanks Re: fencing before landscaping or vice versa??? which one first 6Dec 01, 2009 9:42 pm Just make sure you have access to the yard for the landscaping equipment. We're praying that our neighbour at the rear doesn't start building before we get our back yard landscaped - we'll need to remove a fence panel for access, as our gate is only a metre wide. If you're putting in nice wide double gates, it shouldn't be an issue. Re: fencing before landscaping or vice versa??? which one first 7Dec 03, 2009 4:30 pm We kinda did both at the same time. The fence guy came out... put the posts in and did all his concrete shenanigans. THEN we got the turf down and some landscaping. At some point in the next week he will be back to bolt on the frame to the posts. So my plants and turf will all be fine.. and they didnt have to suffer getting concrete all over them That is a really good attitude Akin to you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I do enjoy watching that tik tok inspector from Victoria but he does go a little… 12 81883 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7272 Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought. It pays to show your State in your avatar.
