Thanks Michelle. I'm fine....lost my mum on Monday, but it was a relief as much as anything else. She had a good innings, and had no quality left in life. It was her time to go. It's often only our own selfishness that wants to keep our loved ones with us, even when they don't want to be here anymore. If all you can see are obstacles, you have lost sight of the goals Re: A nice suprise... 27Jul 20, 2007 10:39 am I'd move the sunflowers to the right-hand side and run the main blurb text in a narrower column down the left side, set left. Centred text is always harder to read. And the wide column of text confuses the eye when you need to go to the next line. That's why newspapers have narrow columns and very rarely use centred text.
Edit: Didn't realise there was a whole page 2 of this thread I'd missed and see I'm a bit behind the times... ![]() Re: A nice suprise... 28Aug 08, 2007 4:14 pm I’ve just spent the better part of my day on my website.
I’ve tried my hardest to get rid of as much text as I could, without leaving it empty. I’ve also now lost my photo on my Profile page, struggling to get that back!! I’ve got rid of all the coloured text I could, I will now have to wait for Glen to do the roll overs and the tabs up top as I can’t figure that out. Matt, I’m going to see if Glen can do something similar to what you did with the tabs area….I really like that! Anyone know where my original post went about helping me with my site???? I can’t find it, and I want to read what you all said to do!!! ![]() Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com |
