Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 27, 2009 9:32 am HI All, We are towards the completion of the building contract finalisation and now the builder is saying different things to what he said verbally earlier.... I just want to confirm a few things : 1) What would be price of a sensor light in the pantry? 2) How much should be price of downlight dimmer regulators? 3) How much should a wine rack usually cost? above the fridge recess? 4) How much is usually an antenna? It would be great if you can advice approximate prices and if these need to be a part of the contract or can be done later after moving it. Thanks heaps Re: Price of the things 2Nov 27, 2009 9:37 am Hi, sorry, I can't help with the prices of those items however you will be able to do some of them after handover (and it'll probably work out cheaper that way too). Make sure your builder writes/lists all prices down in your contract if he is arranging them. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: Price of the things 3Nov 27, 2009 5:16 pm From our contract with M "3. $360.00 Provide Metro antenna package including the installation of a combination UHF/VHF digital compatible antenna on a 1.8 metre mast and RG6 quad shield coaxial cable. All points are site tested and the system comes with a 10 year warranty through Australian Antennas." "7. $164.00 Provide dimmer switch in lieu of standard switch to light point. Colour: White Note: This item is not available with compact fluorescent light fittings. (2No)." That's $164 for two dimmer switches, so $87 each. Also that is an "in lieu of" price. The others I don't know about, but we are planning to install our own sensor light in the pantry if necessary.
