Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 26, 2009 1:28 am I've read a lot on here about vinyl wrap doors being a bad idea for kitchens because of the heat, but what are people's views on vinyl wrap in bathrooms, powder rooms and laundries? I have googled but can't seem to find the same kind of negative comments about using it in those rooms. - would the steam in a bathroom be likely to cause peeling/bubbling? or is it just oven/stove type heat that would cause it? - And what about in a laundry - is it really worth the extra cost in there or not worth bothering? - Presumably a powder room would be fine as there is no heat source there. I would have the cabinet maker supply the doors for use in the wet areas and ensure they are covered under warranty. as for the aesthetic choice, that is up to you.
