Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 24, 2005 9:04 pm Hi we have only just begun to wade through the information and products associated with building a new home. One of the firet things that has struck me the price of building in the country. I found an agent in our area that built homes for a project home company that i had been researching on the web. I was armed with metro prices when i approched the local agent and i was quoted approx double the price that is stated on the companies website.
This to me seems ridiculous i understand that they will be some increase due to distance but double the price they have got to be joking. Has anyone else found this as well. Regards denyi Re: new to forum 2Oct 26, 2005 5:23 pm Hi denyi.
This doesn't sound right ! I'd be contacting the company & asking for a price in your chosen area. There is no way that they would or should entertain that sort of price difference under their franchise agreement.
