Hi we have only just begun to wade through the information and products associated with building a new home. One of the firet things that has struck me the price of building in the country. I found an agent in our area that built homes for a project home company that i had been researching on the web. I was armed with metro prices when i approched the local agent and i was quoted approx double the price that is stated on the companies website.
This to me seems ridiculous i understand that they will be some increase due to distance but double the price they have got to be joking. Has anyone else found this as well.

This doesn't sound right ! I'd be contacting the company & asking for a price in your chosen area. There is no way that they would or should entertain that sort of price difference under their franchise agreement.
