How would your neighbour feel about an army of homeone members teaming up and showing her a lesson or two? Yeah she has other neighbours so you feel out numbered... but homeone has brains... so she's outnumbered! Nutter, her time will come!!! Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 25Nov 11, 2009 7:10 am SurferGirl - sometimes all you need is to vent and talk about these things and they stop snowballing into something bigger, although I would definitely get some kind of security camera or something installed if you plan to live there a long long time! Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 27Nov 22, 2009 9:49 pm Yeah, I was okay with everything else until that happened, he's my son's puppy and it was totally cruel and heartless. The dog is okay now, but it was a real close call! Some people should just get themselves help when they are feeling "not right". Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 28Nov 22, 2009 10:06 pm the real question here is why would you want to live next door to someone like that. sure you can say she wins if you move out but given you have already been physically assaulted your dog poisoned seriously god forbid what if she starts on your kids. sell up move on your life will be so much better and your poor kids wont have to listen to the insults and attacks. you and your familys welfare are far more important then who wins. she is a bully and she wont stop so unless you want years of hell get out now you and your family will win in the end because you will have peace. stay safe happy building Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 29Nov 22, 2009 10:50 pm Sounds like the sort of story a current affairs programme would be interested in ... the "neighbour from hell" line. Maybe approach the TV stations and see if they'd be interested. It might save you having to fork out for the security cameras. If she cracks under stress as you've said then I'm sure they'll get all that on camera too - especially if they're aware that she's likely to blow under pressure. Then again, if she continues in this vein it might be worthwhile spending the money so at least you have evidence in future. As someone said previously, best thing is to protect yourself and your family. Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 30Nov 23, 2009 12:47 am Neighbour disputes are all about negotiation. When a neighbour is abusive and have a "bully mentality" teh best thing is to stand up for yourself. Find out you legal rights and approach them face to face and tell em you've had enough. be prepared to threaten them with legal action and tell you're ready to fight them the whole way if you have to. You'd be surprised how people like that sometimes actually listen when you stop letting them walk all over you. Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 31Nov 23, 2009 1:47 pm i'm feeling vindictive...... HOW ABOUT if you scatter some rusted nails on the lawn where they normally trespass? If it's your property, you should be able to put whatever you want to put there right? I mean it's not like it's a bear trap, its just some rusted nails. And if you know you put it there, you know you wouldn't get hurt by it.... just make sure your dogs don't get near it though. This also sounds like that episode of current affair or today tonight one of those show type. Something about neighbour from hell who would threatened to kill you and etc. They even have guns. The TV people came by and had it recorded on tape while the neighbour was harassing and threatening the victim (or the abused nice lovely lady), and gave it to the police and i think the neighbour was charged... Can't remember if the bad neighbour even throw some bricks over too.. but it was violent..... hmm.... i still like my rusted nails idea. good luck =) Re: Neighbour's gardening and trespass 32Nov 23, 2009 3:49 pm surfergirl Yeah, I was okay with everything else until that happened, he's my son's puppy and it was totally cruel and heartless. My beloved boys (two dogs) and girls (two cats) are the world to me. I would get violent at the point. OMG, I cant believe they did that! If someone poisoned my pets, I would poison their family!!! See how they like it!!!! Seriously, if you cant get them to act like decent human beings, then move out. Your family is in danger now, who knows what they will stop at!!! I'm so angry now, give me their address and I'd personally go up there and give them what for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking for some advice on pool surround planting.
