I am in Vic. Re: Occupancy certificate 3Nov 09, 2009 7:11 pm Do you need a copy to sell your current house? I am in Victoria and will be selling when new house is built, was not even aware we would have to have Cert of Occy to sell? Site Start: 10th September, 2010 PCI : Friday 27th January, 2011. Unless maybe you're an owner builder, or selling the house shortly after construction. Geez, if you needed one to sell any old house, you'd be in strife if your place was 100+ years old. Re: Occupancy certificate 5Nov 12, 2009 2:51 am I am no expert on this one but I do think the Occupancy Certificate is for the satisfaction of the Council and the mortgagee. Home owners rely on the council to do the compliance checking. As with most documents to do with your home, councils are always happy to provide you with a copy for a fee (if you wished to keep one for nostalgic reasons). We are in NSW and require 2 positive covenants to be placed on the property didnt really underdtand this but apparently it will take a few months, and have just been… 2 7438 0 5668 I don’t think so as the floor area over 300 square meters then it is class 3…. 12 17926 |
