Hi Guys,
Just signed up on here after spending a bit of time reading a few threads and find it a quite good imformative website.
Now i have my own dillema and wouldnt mind some advice. I have bought a property in chelsea to demolish and redevelop. Looking at 3 townhouses. Plans are underway but i have 3 large trees. 1 on front, 1 in middle and 1 at rear of property. Council is allowing the middle one to be removed but wish the front and back tree to remain. I have no objections with this as i can still put 3 on there and maintain the trees.
My issue is the council & arborist would like to see the front dwelling and rear dwelling have a pier and beam footing system due to the trees. Does anyone know a rough estimate of how costly this system is? Also has anyone experienced something like this and alternative slab designs can be had? ie) waffle pod?
Your input would be appreciated!!
Thanks
Jon
