It's a 2 coat system, 1 tinted undercoat and 1 top coat, both are sprayed and back rolled (some probably don't even roll). This is why you end up with such a thin coat and why a low sheen will mark so easily. I will definitely be repainting as i have 2 young children and I know what paint to use that stands up to anything, I have tested it in my store myself and I sell a lot of it after showing my customers how it performs. Basically, using a high quality low sheen that is applied with a brush and roller is the way to go. Elzbeth, using just white can work, however from my experience with customers, it’s just too boring, even a little amount of colour in the paint is better, white is very clinical and really has no warmth, I would suggest getting a colour that’s is almost white, a colour that I can think of is Haymes – Marble Mist. There are heaps more, but that’s a popular one at my store. What colour would you do the trims in? Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7165 Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent. 4 5727 |
