Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 19, 2009 9:05 am We are discussing the prospect of building a brick garage to match our home. We have a driveway which would only allow for a single garage, and are thinking of having rollerdoors at each end for easy access to the back yard. It would be seperate to the house, but there is a verandah that overhangs the drive slightly, so we would have to look at options for the roof line. Can anyone give me a ball park figure for what a single car garage costs these days? Nic Re: Building a garage 2Oct 20, 2009 1:11 am I thought maybe 10k to 20k ... but ...Sounds like anyway from 20k to 60k Take a look at this thread and will show you why and make sense viewtopic.php?t=526 We're building The Albany 330E with Casa Design & Construction via National Builders Group See how we are going here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32694 Re: Building a garage 3Oct 20, 2009 7:29 pm from memory we paid less than 20k( maybe 15-18k sorry my memory is terrible) for an additional double garage to be added on to the side of our house. ( one adjoining wall) .A additional double carport was about 12 1/2 k. 2008 price. Re: Building a garage 4Oct 21, 2009 8:58 am That sounds a bit better.... and seeing as we only have space for a single - maybe it's within reach after all! Anyone else got prices? Nic Re: Building a garage 5Oct 21, 2009 8:53 pm it wasn't heaps less for a single though. certainly not half the price.
