Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 18, 2009 3:21 pm I am confused over a certain issue regarding the building of free standing colorbond garages...... Who is responsible for providing the information in regards as to how high a concrete slab is to be constructed....the homeowner or the building surveyor engaged by the homeowner....if it is the building surveyor ....would he notify the homeowner with the data so this could be passed on to the concreting contractor or just left to the homeowner to make a general decision....???......I am faced with an issue regarding the finished floor level of a garage which has been constructed and determined to be in a flood prone area. The building surveyor has informed me that it has not been approved....The floor level (confirmed by land surveyor) is below the required flood level set for the property (to AHD) All approved permits are in place. Any comments or suggestions the conduit would need to be undamaged regardless of what network is in play. The conduit needs to be able to have fibre run through it.
