Go to Spotlight (or anywhere else that sells fabrics) - and get fabric to cover. Choice is endless. Staple gun the fabric to back & done. This is so easy - and really cheap (below cost less than $30 each room). If you get sick of the material - get some more & recover canvas. Also looks great in combinations of 2 or 3, or 9 (small square frames), etc. Here are a couple of my examples... search on here - there are heaps of other examples. Re: Where to get good art/wall decor online? 14Oct 19, 2009 4:13 pm I'm trying to add a pic of some wall art I tried to make today please give your honest opinions if it's just plain hideous!!! I'm not sure if I like it where it is - whether I should maybe make another one and group it as a set of 4 (sqaure) and put on a smaller wall space - or just not use at all??? After a few looks at it I don't think I like it at all Happy for any constructive critisim or advice ta!! What about making the fourth one with the flower in a constrasting colour, something bright that fits with your colour scheme? (Please feel free to discount my advice totally ) Good luck. Re: Where to get good art/wall decor online? 16Oct 20, 2009 12:21 pm I agree with fairyblue, I think those pics are too small for that wall. Loved your canvas art you picked out. It's all the lovely finishing off touches that turns a house in to a home. Good Luck. Hello! I'm new to this forum and in need of some advice. Should I put an art piece on the blank wall and if so what should I put? Appreciate your help! 😃 0 1620 9 26859 The plan (excuse the pun) ideally is to do just that and take the basic floor plans and elevations that we have bought and have a draftsman replicate them to comply prior… 2 1306 |
