Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 14, 2009 7:00 pm I need some help here. I finally had the guy come to have a look at possibly putting in another cupboard for me. It it to be used as a Linen cupboard as i do not have one in this house. The only problem is, we have to put it in the entry. It is the only space available for it. The total area of the entry measures a small 1.10 metres wide by 2 metres long. So do you think it will look silly putting it there? Here are some pictures of the entry to show you what i mean. The cupboard will be like a bedroom wardrobe with 2 small sliders on it. It will only be the width of the wall out to the arch, so it will be approx 40cm but the full height of the walls. I really want to do this but i want some opinions before i go ahead as i do not want to stuff up possible resale of the house because of a silly mistake i made by putting a cupboard/wardrobe in the front entry. Arfur Re: More Cupboard Space - This Is The Only Place To Put It?????? 3Oct 17, 2009 8:24 am I dont think it will be a problem, like the PP said it wont look any stranger than a desk being there. My house has very little storage either and i was thinking of possibly getting some overhead cupboards installed in the garage, maybe this could be an option. V Re: More Cupboard Space - This Is The Only Place To Put It?????? 4Oct 17, 2009 5:00 pm I believe in England they sometimes have coat closets by the entry. There's a precedent for it and I don't think it will look too odd. Maybe if you used wooden sliding panels that would help it fit in. Gravity. Its the law.
